What I have done and doing now.

Since 20 mar 2020 I am at home. I only went out to buy groceries maybe once in 2 weeks.

But I have done more  than I was doing before.

I wanted to take a break and do things that have been pending and relax a little.  Little did I realize that these “work from home” days was so much more productive than ever.

Yes I can’t see my clients face to face and I miss that.

I miss meeting my clients to chit chat when they are hospitalized or just need someone to listen to them, their worries, happiness and just to have a cup of coffee together and more!

I miss my friends too though I don’t have that many.

Most of all,  I lost my income too – but because I was preaching what I do for a living, I have kept my minimum income requirement for a year.  That came in very handy and I am living off  my savings that I know that I might need when I get sick or unable to work for whatever reasons.

So please people, do take this COVID 2019 situation as a WAKE UP call if you have been putting off savings for that rainy day.

Do make sure all your insurance is in order especially medical and critical illness insurances.  If you need information or some guidance, do call me at +65 85713991.  No obligations. Get yourself in order for the sake of your loved ones. I have been in the insurance industry for 25 years and have received the Honour Roll in my Company, which is very prestigious.

Then, what have I done in the last 2 months?

I participate in zoom prayers to heal the world everyday with people from around the world.

And another local chant group to heal Singapore and to protect the vulnerables and front liners on a weekly basis

I made time to listen to bhagavad gita lessons online every week and from 1 june it will be daily.

I worked and still am working daily.

Took some exams.

Sat for some tests related to work.

Attended many zoom courses.

Had zoom meetings  almost everyday.

Catch up with clients & friends via phone calls.

Service my clients

Starred in 2 cooking videos.

I  produced my own 1 min video. Will post it in social media soon.

Took my pet dogs for walks,  and chat with them.

Read books, both fiction and work related.

Watch Netflix and TV (definitely spent more time here)

Having hi-tea zoom time with my neighbours in my area, having tea and chit chat etc

Spent more time on social media

I text or Skype regularly with my 2 girls who are working in Melbourne and London Hospitals.  ( I am happy  and yet very concerned but I know they are doing their best right now )

I also spend more time in solitude.

I have formed a habit of getting up earlier. I usually wake up at 6 am but now it is even earlier.

I stepped up on meditation.

I cook  dishes that were in my travel notes and rekindled memories of my conversations  with natives and villagers in the countries that I have visited since 1996.

Baked some of my  favourite cakes, kuehs and muffins

Tested some new recipes.

Sent some food over to some people who needed meals.

Worked on a new spice project  to increase immunity and to lose weight gradually and naturally.

I have been researching for more than 1 year and have been consuming my spice powder for the last 5 months. I have lost about 1 kg each month and I feel so much better.  I used to have cramps and sometimes bloated stomach due to the food I eat.  I love food so I will never say no to anything new or nice. And in the last 2 months i have been eating a minimum of 5 meals a day that included cakes, kuihs and rice twice a day! Best part I didn’t gain any weight! I am very satisfied with my magic spice powder, it will be available to the public soon.

My new product is in the  process  now.  Anyone interested to purchase this product can call me or email me tummycalling@gmail.com

So I believe a lot can be done if you set your mind to doing it.

My latest goal is to walk 5 km daily for 100 days.  I have already  taken the first step last week. Probably I will walk more km by mid June. Anyone interested to join in after this period can do so.

Just give me a call. Do share if you had embarked on anything new or would like to share how you are spending your time. i would love to hear from you too.

Happy June days! Stay safe and take care.
